Around 27 million passengers are expected to fly on U.S. airlines alone between the dates of November 21st and December 2nd for the Thanksgiving holiday. About a month later, the airlines will experience another surge of passengers for Christmas and New Years. If you’re flying this holiday season, you’ll likely face crowds and chaos at the airport, but there are a few ways you can make the experience a little easier.

Below are a few ways you can make holiday travel a little less stressful:

• Arrive Early – The holiday crowds will make it more likely that you’ll need to stand in longer lines. Arriving at the airport an hour earlier than usual can make an important difference. Not only will you make sure you have plenty of time, but you’ll also eliminate any stress associated with running late.
